An electronic humidity control cabinet can maintain a stable, low-humidity environment, ideal for storing moisture-sensitive items. These cabinets are used to protect electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), lenses, medical supplies, archival materials, and other sensitive assets from humidity-related damage. The cabinet regulates the relative humidity (RH) within a specified range, helping prevent issues like dust, oxidation, and microcracks.
In surface mount technology (SMT) applications, the electronic humidity control cabinet is critical for storing sensitive components such as solder paste, circuit boards, and other electronic components that may be affected by humidity.
High ambient humidity can cause electronic components to absorb moisture, especially during reflow soldering. This phenomenon is known as “popcorning,” in which moisture trapped in a component rapidly expands when heated, causing internal pressure and potential damage.
Using drying cabinets can minimize the risk by keeping components in a low-humidity environment, thereby reducing moisture absorption, NetDry cabinets follow industry regulated IPC standard.

The electronic humidity control cabinet uses active dehumidifying system to maintain low humidity levels, automatically adjusting to changes in humidity. This allows sensitive items to be stored safely and protected from moisture-related issues and electrostatic discharge (ESD).
The dehumidifying system is controlled by a microcomputer. When the internal humidity is high, it starts to absorb moisture; when the humidity reaches the set value, it stops absorbing water and discharges water outside. This process is automatic control.
This chart shows, in the ambient 25 degree C, humidity 50%RH, open door 30 seconds and then close, the humidity can recover to the set point within 30 minutes.
