Dry cabinet for electronic components is a humidity-controlled storage solution designed to protect sensitive devices from moisture, dust, and static electricity. The drying cabinet maintains a ultra-low humidity environment using electronic dehumidifying systems. If humidity inside the cabinet exceeds the set level, the dehumidifier will be activated automatically.
During SMT reflow, if the humidity in the ambient is high, moisture will invade the electronics. The moisture that penetrates the interior will expand, causing micro-cracks. The damage is invisible, but in some cases, cracks will expand to the surfaces, known as popcorning, causing components repair or even waste.

The dry cabinet for electronic components can solve the above micro-cracking problems by providing a low humidity storage atmosphere, and it complies with industry regulated IPC standard for MSDs. Instead of high-temperature baking, these cabinets dehumidify during storing, which is best suited for removing moisture in SMT production, thereby eliminating damage during reflow.

NetDry dry cabinet for electronic components, also known as ESD safe dry cabinet, adopts the latest dehumidifying technology. The entire dehumidifying system is controlled by a microcomputer. When the internal humidity is high, it starts to absorb moisture; when the humidity reaches the set value, it stops absorbing water and discharges water outside. This process is automatic, by maintaining low humidity and stable conditions, dehumidifying dry cabinets effectively protect valuable and sensitive items from the damaging effects of moisture.

This chart shows in the ambient 25 degree C, humidity 50%RH, open door 30 seconds and then close, the humidity can recover to the set point within 30 minutes.
